If you are a stupid rubbernecker, yes.

If not, no.

If you take the train or drive, count on a whole day of travel each way. I believe the TGV (high speed train) only goes from Paris to Marseilles. The rest of the way to Nice (the main city in the Riviera) is by traditional train.

Paris is awesome. You wouldn't run out of things to do there if you spent the whole week there.

Doable... but I think you'll be rushed... if it's your first time and you want to see as much as possible, then go for it... if you want to get to know a place beyond the landmark sights and guide book recommendations then I'd recommend choosing one or the other.

You can save a day by taking the overnight train from Paris to Marseilles or if you could take the TGV - bullet train - in about 3.5 hours... Keep in mind the travel time back to Paris (assuming you're flying in/out of CDG).

There's a lot to do and see in Paris... and aren't vacations supposed to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace?

I did it in 3, we were waking up at the crack of dawn and sleeping at 3-4am but we did it. Paris isnt all it's cracked up to be these days, do the Riviera instead and concentrate your time in that area.

Go ahead! Three days in Paris than take easy jet to Nice. Rent a car after and visit Monaco, Cannes and have a pizza in San Remo /Italy/ EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE
